Congratulations to Alexandra
Regier for her excellent results in her first Elite Canada ever !!! Alexandra took the 9th
place All Around in the Junior High Performance Category and the 3rd
place on Bars in the first day of competition. 28 gymnasts competed. Though she had to battle
more than 3 weeks of sickness, she competed very well with
some watered down routines and an easier vault. The effect of being ill became evident on
floor as she missed her second tumbling pass. Alexandra came back pumped
up and is now training to enhance the content of her routines. Some of the skills she had
to leave out will now be back in …plus a few other surprises for her tough
competitors to find out at Nationals, in early June 2004. Panthers Club is proud of
Alexandra and would like to thank all the gymnasts who trained with her for their
word of encouragement and support, especially her friend and teammate Ashlee deLeeuw who accompanied
her and supported her in Mississauga. Good luck in your training
and stay healthy… No more flu or colds ! Ok ? |
