Panthers Gymnastics Field Trip Outline

Panthers Gymnastics provides students with an opportunity to develop and strengthen motor skills and coordination in a fun and safe environment.   Children will be introduced to gymnastics and participate on floor, bars, beam and vault.

Opportunities are available on Friday mornings from 10:00AM – 12:00PM upon request.

When you first arrive, all outdoor footwear is to be removed and placed on the shelves in the entry way.  Participants may then proceed into the lobby area where you will be shown the washrooms and change areas where all coats and sweaters etc. may be placed into one of the cubicles, lockers or hooks provided.  The coaches will then take all into the gym area to begin your session.

We start off with the warm up which is usually a game or running to get the blood circulating and kids ready.  The warm up also includes some stretching and instruction on basic terms and skills they will be hearing throughout the session.

Dependent on the size of the group we will break off into smaller groups by either age, size or gender and the children will participate in stations on each apparatus.

Children are required to wear tight fitting clothing for safety purposes.  Long hair should be tied back in a ponytail or braids and bare feet inside the gym is required.

Scheduling Information

  • $5.00 per hour for groups of 20 or more and $7.50 per hour for groups less than 20
  • There is no charge for teachers & chaperones

A deposit payment of 50% must be received with submission of contract. The date will not be secured until contract is returned, and deposit is paid.

Please retain a copy of the contact and the informational pages for your reference. Panthers Gymnastics Program Director will confirm the field trip date and details. The balance for the field trip, and any additional attendees is due upon arrival along with the signed waivers.

Panthers Gymnastics requires one adult for every ten children participating, not including the teacher. For pre-school and 1st grade classes, we require one adult per every 5 students in attendance.

*It is very important that Panthers Gymnastics is notified of any conditions or impediments of participants in advance to ensure a safe environment for all.

Field trips are non-refundable if canceled less than 72 hours before the scheduled Field Trip date. Cancelation must be made in writing or arranged over the phone, and confirmed by the Panthers Gymnastics. If canceled more than 48 hours prior to the field trip, the deposit may be applied to a future date.
